How should I clean and care for my Pursuit Duffle 33L backpack?

To help maintain the shape, finish, and weather-resistant properties of your Pursuit Duffle, we recommend cleaning it by hand rather than placing it in a washing machine.

Cleaning instructions

1. Empty the bag, footwear compartment, valuables pocket, and removable packing cube.
2. Shake out any loose dirt or debris.
3. Wipe the exterior and interior using a soft cloth or sponge with cool water and a small amount of mild soap.
4. For stubborn marks, gently scrub the affected area with a soft-bristled brush.
5. Wipe away any remaining soap with a clean, damp cloth.
6. Leave all compartments and zippers open and allow the bag to air-dry completely before storing or using it again.

Carrying and weight guidance

Take care not to overload the bag, particularly when carrying it using the one-handed strap setup. As a general guideline, we recommend limiting the total packed weight to approximately 10 kg (22 lb) when carrying the bag this way.

For heavier loads, use both handles where possible, support the bag from underneath when lifting it, and avoid pulling or swinging it by a single strap. Distributing weight evenly throughout the bag will also help reduce unnecessary strain on the straps, seams, and attachment points.
